Some part Crest Nicholson still own the freehold of the land and they have tasked Countrywide to collect the ground rent on their behalf. The money for Watersmeet is for stuff like maintance, cleaning & electric for the communal areas along with the buildings insurance and building up a fund for future large maintance costs.
Both of these do need to be paid

Yes
I've had one for £175.00 - can we clarify who actually owns Viridian Square, I keep getting bills left, right and centre from Watersmeet and Countrywide, and quite simply I cant afford to pay them both

I received it the demand yesterday, so people should be receiving these now from Countrywide.

Has anyone received a demand for ground rent this year from Countrywide yet?
I would have expected to have had one by now, so just wanted to check if I wasn't alone in not having had one.
